Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is seeking a Scrum Master/Project Manager for a 12 month contract with a well-established client in Lakewood, CO.

Position Description:

My client is seeking a full time Scrum Master/Project Manager to:

1. Execute and facilitate scrum process for the Enterprise Application Architecture (EAA) team

2. Execute and facilitate the project management process for the EAA team; some examples include but not limited to the Identity Management Tool, Automated Testing tool

3. Execute high execute level analysis and documentation for Jeffco's custom integration platform

4. Perform light software testing

Major Areas of Responsibility:

SCRUM Responsibilities:

Organizing and facilitating the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings

Ensuring the sprint task board is up to date

Track Sprint metrics including velocity, sprint burn-down

Responding to and coordinate resolution team member impediments

Facilitate with other technology teams on cross-facilitation of dependent work

Works with product owners to ensure the maintenance of the Product Backlog

Works with product owners to ensure backlog aligns with project deliverables

Project Manager Responsibilities:

Works with EAA Management and Project Sponsors to define EAA led projects

Ensures EAA projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications)

Managing and leading the project team

Managing coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work

Detailed project planning and control including:

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary; coordination with Product Owners could be necessary

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan; coordination with Product Owners could be necessary

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Resolving cross-functional issues at project level

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Monitoring project progress and performance

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Providing status reports to the project sponsor

ย  ย  ย  ย  o Managing project evaluation activities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, business, mathematical, statistical, or financial discipline required

Mid-Senior Project Manager with experience managing technical projects

PMP Certification

SCRUM Master Certification

Working Conditions:

This position requires the candidate to be onsite- no remote work or telecommuting. Candidate must be available to start as soon as August 2015.ย
