SUMMARY
Looking for a Results-driven technical Business Analyst with expertise in requirements gathering, process optimization, and end-to-end project delivery. Adept at bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support strategic goals. Skilled in requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and project execution to drive operational efficiency and achieve strategic business objectives.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions
  2. Work closely with product owners in the business to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget and scope
  3. Collaborate collected requirements to IT Enterprise Apps delivery team to communicate the business needs and how the solution
  4. Develop appropriate technical documentation needed for systems/application development/deployment/support
  5. Drive innovation and technical excellence by researching new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our technical capabilities
  6. Comply with EAA and IT standards, policies, and guidelines
  7. Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment

BUSINESS ANALYSIS
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and process mapping
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements
  • Perform impact analysis and support change management initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure shared understanding and solution alignment

STAKEHOLDER & TEAM COLLABORATION
  • Engage and manage relationships with business leaders, sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project meetings
  • Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Partner with QA and testing teams to validate solutions meet business requirements

DELIVERY & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Support solution implementation, user adoption, and post-go-live activities
  • Measure project outcomes against success metrics and business KPIs
  • Identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of project and analysis practices
  • Promote best practices, standards, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (Highly recommended but not required)
  • Lead small end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk registers
  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure successful delivery
  • Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive communications
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 1-3 years of technical BA experience working in IT, corporate or similarly structured technical environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite Cloud), and AMS systems (Aptify) a plus
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts and practices, Agile/Scrum and Waterfall tools including JIRA Cloud
  • Eager, Independent learner with a proven ability to research the most practical solutions to user problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to exchange constructive feedback with team members
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience providing mentorship and technical guidance to IT to support the delivery and maintenance of high-quality corporate systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical office setting. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Preparation for AirVenture or other events may require lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and push and pull motions.
