The Manager of Franciscan Health Environmental Services (EVS) oversees and facilitates management of daily operations of the Environmental Services/Linen Departments. This position, also, oversees departmental personnel, and is responsible for overseeing performance management and anticipating staffing needs. The Manager is responsible for ensuring policy and processes are followed and maintaining a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Make decisions for direct reports and performs people management activities, such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff planning, and interviews.
  • Manage departmental finances and productivity to achieve budget targets.
  • Manage departmental human resources activities, including recruitment and selection, and performance management.
  • Manage inter- and intra-departmental communication, including attending meetings to represent EVS.
  • Manage linen and EVS supply ordering.
  • Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance readiness, including HFAP, State, and Federal agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED - Required
  • 1 year EVS Supervisor leadership - Required
  • 5 years EVS leadership - Preferred
