Hiring EVS Technicians - Golden, CO

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑focused EVS Technician to support environmental services operations in a healthcare setting. This role ensures patient rooms and facility areas remain clean, safe, and sanitary by following strict infection control procedures and established cleaning standards.

Ideal candidates bring prior hospital, EVS, or janitorial experience and thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment.

Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour

Shift/Schedule:

  • Thursday–Monday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM OR
  • Thursday–Monday, 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize rooms including patient areas, offices, and common spaces
  • Follow all cleaning, disinfection, and infection‑control protocols
  • Safely handle cleaning tasks involving exposure to bodily fluids (blood, urine, vomit, and other biohazards)
  • Complete room‑turnover checklists and documentation accurately
  • Sweep, mop, wax, and maintain floors using approved equipment and products
  • Operate floor polishers and other EVS equipment safely
  • Restock tissues, paper towels, soap, and other essential supplies
  • Remove trash and medical waste according to facility guidelines
  • Clean and sanitize waste containers and disposal areas
  • Move furniture and equipment safely without causing damage
  • Use chemicals and cleaning agents according to safety and manufacturer guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional, compassionate interactions with patients, visitors, and staff
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of hospital EVS, housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience
