Job Summary:

Manages the planning and delivery of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) activities for Self-Perform Work (SPW) within a Business Unit. Oversees VDC implementation for assigned projects, managing personnel and ensuring digital processes support efficient planning, coordination, and field execution. Provides leadership and technical direction to SPW VDC Engineers and project teams, ensuring alignment with DPR's standards, best practices, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages SPW VDC execution across assigned projects, ensuring consistent modeling standards, process integration, and coordination with field operations.
  • Supervises and develops VDC Engineers, assigning work, providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering technical growth.
  • Leads project-specific VDC planning, execution, and deliverable review to ensure alignment with fabrication, installation, and schedule goals.
  • Oversees implementation of project-specific VDC Execution Plans (VDCx), ensuring adherence to DPR procedures and contract requirements.
  • Collaborates with project management and self-perform leadership to align model-based workflows with construction sequencing and procurement.
  • Tracks project-level VDC performance indicators, including model accuracy, efficiency gains, and quality outcomes.
  • Supports adoption of emerging digital tools and field technologies that improve SPW efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
Education Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
  • 7-9 years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), or a related field required.
  • Experience managing teams, coordinating multi-trade VDC processes, and leading project-level VDC implementation required.
Certifications and Licenses:
  • None required.
