Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off); onsite full-time, no teleworking
Pay: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 – $246,100; in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York the range is $160,500 – $278,300. For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Final offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business factors. POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is for an Electronics Engineer V – Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) working on the development of sophisticated, state?of?the?art avionics products as part of the central circuit design group. You will join a team of subject matter experts performing and reviewing WCCA for both in?house and subcontract electronics products, responding to enterprise program needs during development and helping mitigate risk to end?of?life performance requirements for deliverable avionics hardware. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Independently review and approve WCCA and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (EPSA) reports for in?house and supplier electronic circuits. Perform WCCA and EPSA as required for Critical Design Reviews. Serve as an avionics sub?system subject matter expert on independent review board teams. Participate in engineering reviews, including Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions and Failure Review Boards (FRB) as required. Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Identify risks and opportunities to meet mission success objectives for avionics subsystems. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Experience performing electronics analysis, including Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis. Experience in the development phase of aerospace hardware. Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers, including presentations and written communication. 8+ years of professional experience. Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience using and assisting others with Mathcad. Experience performing, reviewing, and training others in signal and power integrity analysis. Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation and with electronics modeling/simulation software such as SPICE. Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar software. Experience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware at CCA, unit, and system levels. Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers. Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus and effective relationships with team members.
