Position : Technical Lead
Location : Jersey City, NJ - Onsite
Duration : 6 to 12 Months
Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ Years of related industry experience in system development and implementation
  • Minimum 2 + years of experience as a Technical Lead.
  • Strong Experience in Duck Creek Policy Administration Solution Design and Architecture.
  • Hands On experience working in EXAMPLE Author, Server, Express, Forms, Skins, Rating, Batch Processing, Task/Notification, Referral, Party, Transact, User Admin & Data Insights.
  • Experience in Version 2 pages and relevant experience in Express 3.
  • Experience in Debugging Tools Data Tester, Example Utility, EXAMPLE Trace Monitor,TSV Debugger.
  • Experience in XML/XSLT,CSS development & Customization
  • DCU Certification
  • Working on Customization/Custom development in Skins/Custom.JS, third party application integration using web services
  • Good knowledge in Deployment process using VSTS, GITHub etc.
  • Experience in SQL Server Database and stored procedures.
  • DCU Certification.
  • Preferred Experience working in DCOD set up.
  • Experience working directly with technology, business stakeholders/leadership in formulating technical requirements to solve business problems.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies including some of the following: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Test-driven development, and Behavior-driven development preferred.

Job Description
  • Define low Level Design for the Duck Creek Product Implementation.
  • Assist Technical Architect/Business Architects/Business Analysts during gap analysis.
  • Work with Technical Architects to ensure the application components align with a specific architecture component and meet performance goals.
  • Work on designing solutions to meet key business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end development and implementation using Duck Creek Platform.
  • Provide guidance or mentorship to the team where applicable
  • Ensure required Process and best practices are followed during the implementation phase.
  • Document the key assumptions and risks.
  • Work with the respective Project / Platform Manager's to detail out the effort estimation and timelines.
  • Assist in requirements validation, backlog grooming, coordinating development efforts.
  • Communicate and report regularly in accordance with the agreed upon communications plan.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the succession plan of the projects on their account.
