Job description

POSITION PROFILE
Under the supervision of the County Assessor and Office Manager, performs a variety of routine
administrative and clerical duties. Responsibilities will include duties for the licensing of motor vehicles and
general office tasks. Responsible for the flow and completion of assigned work within general guidelines,
and may require the exercise of some judgment in application.
This position will either be stationed at the Roosevelt DMV Office or the Duchesne DMV Office. While
each position will primarily be stationed at a specific location, occasional work at the alternate DMV office
may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Processes renewal applications, checks for accuracy and new title/registration applications,
processes duplicate titles, permits and disabilities person placards/plates, and completes changes
in vehicle registrations.
โ€ข Waiting on the counter, daily balancing, running reports, using and servicing equipment, filing and
completing forms.
โ€ข Provides record-keeping, file maintenance, word processing, data entry.
โ€ข Responsible for the flow and completion of assigned work within general guidelines, and may
require the exercise of some judgment in application.
โ€ข Receives payments from customers.
โ€ข Balances cash and receipts with all daily business transactions.
โ€ข Operates computers, printers, and software applicable to the daily operations of the office.
โ€ข Performs work and data entry, recording of license plate renewals, title work, and registrations.
โ€ข Performs other duties as business needs necessitate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods
of time, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, twist, and lift up to 20lbs pounds on occasion.
โ€ข Extended periods of time viewing a computer video monitor and operating a keyboard, other
physical requirements will also include, walking, bending, stooping, and filing.
โ€ข Occasionally lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, or otherwise moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
โ€ข Talking, hearing and seeing essential to completion of essential functions. Rapid work speed
required performing keyboard operations. Common eye, hand, finger, leg and foot dexterity exist.

โ€ข Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
