Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Certifications in CPP, PSP, CPTED.
  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, access control, and incident management systems.
  • Experience managing budgets and performing costs analysis.
  • Track record of managing security operations and security personnel and delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment.

As a Campus Security Manager, you will help lead Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) for one or more Google sites. You will work with internal and external partners to develop and evolve programs, processes, capabilities, and resources essential to ensuring a safe, secure working environment.
From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $128000 - $188000 (USD) 15% bonus target bonus equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Own, manage, and continuously refine site physical, technical, and procedural security programs, process, capabilities, and resources.
  • Implement, pressure-test, and execute security standards, policies and practices.
  • Daily manage vendor security teams and operations.
  • Conduct threat/risk assessments, draft and implement security operation plans, and identify necessary security resources, human and material.
  • Manage security process, capabilities, and resources in response to incidents/disruption at site and the timely mitigation of risk to the business, its personnel and work spaces.
