JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The PCAT Lab is recruiting 2 undergraduate research assistants for Summer 2026.
Research assistant will help with in-person data collection and behavioral coding. Data collection tasks include conducting Zoom interviews with parents, setting up the testing space, equipment setup (e.g., fNIRS, EEG, ECG, mobile eye tracking), and interacting with families. Behavioral coding tasks include coding parent-child interaction tasks, completing CITI Training, and utilizing Google Calendar, Slack, Canvas, and Microsoft OneDrive. Research assistants will receive training on data collection tasks, behavioral coding tasks, and handling equipment.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
