Job Description
• Manage production of desktop publishing (DTP) projects using InDesign, Quark, and other desktop publishing applications on MAC and PC
• Coordinate and communicate with other DTP Specialists, Project Managers, and other production team members, in various offices and time zones, to ensure project deadlines are met
• Responsible for learning new DTP formats and procedures; able to troubleshoot technical issues
• Thorough understanding of leading, tracking, kerning and fonts
• Perform other special projects or duties when required
Qualifications
• 4-year degree from a university or college
• Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office and other desktop publishing applications on a MAC/PC
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English
• Work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build relationships with co-workers, work as part of a team, and commit to a high level of service
• Must be willing to learn new skills, be open to challenges and thrive on success
