Art Director, Creative DTC (Global)

THE ROLE 

We're looking for an Art Director to join our Global Creative DTC team, based in New York City and focused on bringing Shark and Ninja to life at the point of digital sale. As the Art Director, you'll lead the creation of best-in-class retail and marketplace creative, including Amazon A+ content, brand stores, and retailer.com product detail pages across our key retail partners. You'll combine strong design craft with a sharp commercial instinct, creating work that's as visually compelling as it is effective at driving conversion. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Lead the design and art direction of Amazon A+ content, Premium A+, brand stores, and sponsored creative for Shark and Ninja product lines 
  • Create compelling product detail page (PDP) creative for key retailer.com partners 
  • Develop and maintain Amazon Brand Store design across Shark and Ninja, ensuring a premium, on-brand shopping experience  
  • Translate product briefs and launch strategies into retail-specific creative that communicates features, benefits, and value propositions with clarity and impact 
  • Partner with the NPD creative team to adapt global launch assets for channel specs and best practices 
  • Collaborate with DTC and retail sales teams to align creative with promotional calendars, retail windows, and category strategies  
  • Develop creative frameworks and templates that bring consistency and efficiency to retail creative production 
  • Stay current on Amazon creative best practices, A/B testing tools (Manage Your Experiments), and emerging retailer.com capabilities 
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of SharkNinja's creative standards and design system  
  • Present creative concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • 6+ years of experience in art direction, digital design, or creative direction, with a meaningful focus on Amazon and/or retailer.com creative 
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong Amazon A+, brand store design, and retailer PDP creative across a range of products or categories  
  • Deep knowledge of Amazon creative specs, A+ content modules, Brand Store architecture, and Sponsored Brand creative formats 
  • Experience designing for major retailers and brands 
  • Excellent graphic design, layout, and typography 
  • Familiar with producing AI Generative Creative using node-based systems: Flora,Weavy  
  • Proficiency using Open AI or Claude  
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite  
  • Strong understanding of social content formats and platform-specific creative best practices 
  • Experience briefing and managing external creative talent 
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners 
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with consumer electronics, beauty, or lifestyle brands preferred
