What are DSD Vendors?

DSD Vendors, or Direct Store Delivery Vendors, are suppliers who deliver products directly to a retail store rather than through the retailer’s distribution centers. These vendors handle their own logistics, inventory stocking, and often merchandising within the store. This model is commonly used for products like beverages, snacks, and baked goods, allowing for fresher stock and quicker restocking. DSD Vendors work closely with store managers to manage inventory levels and ensure optimal placement of their products.
