Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for computer setup, application installation and configuration, and regular maintenance.
  • Provide technical support. Complete help desk tickets and document job tasks.
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities. Resolve incidents and apply security protocols, patches and updates.
  • Identify the root cause of technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide and monitor vendor remote access sessions. Maintain documentation of all vendor support, including technical support logs and remote access logs.
  • Document and maintain accurate inventory of all hardware.
  • Identify opportunities and make equipment or software recommendations.
  • Perform testing/research of new operating systems for compatibility with the network and software.
  • Write detailed instructions on job tasks and projects.
  • Assist the team in supporting the network. Install and troubleshoot devices/cabling as directed.
  • Responsible for compliance with the casino's Internal Control policies.
  • Perform department tasks assigned by manager or supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT Support, Systems Administration, or related technical role.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture (CPUs, motherboards, RAM, storage).
  • Able to lift and carry equipment weighing more than 30 lbs.
  • Able to work shifts or be on call during some weekends, holidays and/or evenings as required.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Strong communication skills: both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be 21 and obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.

Other/Beneficial Qualifications: College Degree/Diploma, CompTIA A+ or other related certifications, experience with Active Directory Users/Computers/Groups, experience with printer repair and network printing solutions, Microsoft 365, Casino Management Systems (Oasis 360), and endpoint security.
