Job description

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple education-focused construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Client Details Our client is a rapidly growing and highly respected General Contractor specializing in DSA and LAUSD construction projects throughout Southern California. With a strong reputation for delivering complex educational and public-sector projects, they are committed to quality, safety, and long-term client partnerships. Description Our Senior Project Manager will be resonsible for: Manage all phases of construction projects from award through closeout. Ensure compliance with DSA, local jurisdictional requirements, and project specifications. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontractor agreements, and procurement logs. Lead project meetings with clients, architects, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors. Monitor project financial performance, including cost controls, forecasting, and change management. Review RFIs, submittals, design documents, and contract requirements. Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure safety, quality control, and compliance standards are consistently achieved. Maintain strong client relationships and drive overall project success. Profile The ideal Senior Project Manager will have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 10+ years of project management experience with a General Contractor. Direct experience delivering DSA and/or LAUSD projects required. Strong understanding of public works construction and regulatory requirements. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
