Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in NH, and Massachusetts for a Commercial Framer, Drywall, and ACT Ceilings professional. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing metal framing, hanging and finishing drywall, and installing ACT ceiling systems according to project specifications and building codes. The role involves reading and interpreting construction drawings, measuring and cutting materials accurately, and ensuring work areas are kept clean and organized. The individual will work closely with site supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule, adhere to safety protocols, and assist with troubleshooting or adjustments required on site.

Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial framing, including metal stud and wood framing, and ability to use related tools and equipment safely.
  • Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing, including hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and repair work.
  • Hands-on experience installing ACT ceilings, including grid systems and acoustic tiles, with attention to alignment and finish quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, take accurate measurements, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong awareness of job site safety, including proper use of PPE, ladders, scaffolding, and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
  • Physical ability to perform construction tasks, such as lifting materials, working on ladders, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation to the Manchester, NH job site and consistent punctuality.
  • Previous commercial construction experience preferred; apprenticeship, trade school, or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse crews, maintain professional conduct, and adapt to changing project needs.
