Project Estimator- Drywall- Phoenix
Remote position!!
General Role Description
The Project Estimator leads and manages through open communication, fostering an
environment that supports the core values and culture. This individual is responsible for existing andnew client growth by engaging with both types of clients and differentiating my client from the competitionwhile building a growing base of relationships and business through a high level and consistent sales &estimating effort.
High Level Key Responsibilities
Sales
-Provide excellent - client centric service
-Utilize the Client Relationship Management (CRM) Database
-Participate in the Client Share Process for assigned clients - focused on growingexisting client relationships and business
Estimating
-Perform preconstruction/estimating activities
-Ensure estimates are complete and accurate with a full set of qualifications
-Ensure bids are followed up on and questions answered timely, ensuring we knowwho the procurement process is being handed off to within the client organization
-Identify plan and specification discrepancies and qualify them to the client in theproposal clarifications
-Create RFI's for all bid questions
-Engage with client to Identify and develop list of Value Engineering opportunities onall bid proposals
-Perform thorough and accurate take offs
-Ensure application of current pricing on material and labor specific to each projectbid
-Ensure all estimates are organized and transparent
-Utilize, compile, and learn from estimating historical data of RDS and competitors
-Assigned contract review and project handoff/setup per the New SubcontractProcedure
Risk Management
-Be accountable to ensure the contracted plans, scope, schedule, value, and all othercontract terms do not conflict with how we bid the project
-Identify and review all project risks and logistics prior to submitting bid proposal
-Ensure inclusion of adequate material pricing and increases

-Minimum 5 years' experience estimating Metal Framing & Drywall Assemblies
