About the Opportunity

Solid Rock Recruiting is working with an established commercial drywall contractor with a strong reputation and a proven track record on high-end commercial projects throughout Florida.

They are looking to add an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator who can take ownership of estimates and help the team continue winning quality work.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for $1M+ commercial drywall and Division 9 projects
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Obtain competitive material and subcontractor pricing
  • Manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines
  • Help develop complete and competitive bid proposals
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience estimating commercial drywall and/or plaster
  • Strong understanding of metal stud framing and drywall systems
  • On-Screen Takeoff (OST) experience is required
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
