Who We Are

DMR Technologies is a fast-growing American drone manufacturer based in Lafayette, LA building advanced agricultural spray and commercial mapping drones (the X50 & D313) right here in the U.S. We're pioneering processes, scaling fast, and looking for hands-on problem solvers to grow with us.
The Role

You'll assemble, service, test, and repair professional drones in our air-conditioned shop and eventually in the field. Think precision assembly (closer to iPhone repair than shipbuilding) small screwdrivers, allen wrenches, carbon fiber tubing, motors, nozzles, and basic wiring. These positions start at 30 hours and move to full-time 40 hours within 30 days.
No drone experience required. Mechanical aptitude is everything.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble drone components following work instructions, diagrams, and video guides
  • Install mechanical systems: hoses, nozzles, CF tubing, motors, lightweight structures (~70%)
  • Run basic wiring and electrical connections per print (~30%)
  • Perform routine service, inspections (15-point), nozzle replacements, and consumables
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical issues shop & field
  • Potentially fly, diagnose, and test drones as skills develop
You're a Strong Fit If You Have:

  • Any hands-on mechanical or electrical background (HVAC, auto, electronics, military, construction anything counts)
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently
  • Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and comfort figuring things out
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, team-first attitude
Bonus Points:

  • Drone or RC aircraft experience / FAA Part 107 license
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Willingness to travel 1530%
  • Basic computer skills / comfort with digital tools
