Job description

Description:

- Receiving and slotting deliveries of product that arrive at the Food House.

- Organizing and placing orders for FH production departments.

- Building and staging outgoing orders.

- Cultivating professional working relationships with key WSM store staff and FH staff, customers, vendors and sales representatives.

-Communicating any issues with outgoing and incoming orders with delivery drivers and key - production department personnel.

- Maintaining the organization and condition of all product storage areas (Warehouse, coolers, freezers, dock area) so that products are easily accessible and clearly identifiable.

-Drive 26ft box truck and panel van to shuttle and fill in for delivery drivers.

- Deliver to our stores and wholesale customers, safely, efficiently, while maintaining a high-level of customer service.

- Prepare delivery loads, follow planned delivery routes, transfer merchandise between stores, receive and stock products in our warehouse.

- Forklift and electric pallet jack operation.

- Maintenance projects to include general cleaning and dolly maintenance

- Warehouse cleaning and organization

- Assist dishwashers

- Assist production departments

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

Box truck driving and delivery experience
Experience in a warehouse environment
Regular, predictable attendance
Self-motivation / direction

Functional Qualifications:

The ability to push, pull, bend, twist, and, and lift 75# regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:
Warehousing experience (unloading, picking, slotting, and organizing)
Multilingual a plus
Demonstrated ability to work with co-workers from various cultural backgrounds
Food Handling or Kitchen work
