Job description

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Advisor/Driver Coordinator will interact with the company’s drivers addressing inquiries/issues.

This job requires the ability to work from Noon to 9PM, Monday - Friday. Shift differential pay is applied on hours worked from 6pm to 9pm.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Interacts with customers via telephone or email to provide support and information on truck deliveries.

· Fields driver questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to other appropriate terminal staff.

· Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve driver problems and concerns.

· Maintains and detailed records of driver interactions, complaints, or comments.

· Takes detailed notes on driver accident calls and forwards to appropriate parties.

· Work with other departments and companies to resolve driver issues.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent communication skills including active listening.

· Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
