Job description

Job Title: Warehouse & Transport Driver (Non-CDL)

Reports to: Station Manager

Type of Position: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt


Job Summary:

The Warehouse & Transport Driver (Non-CDL) supports air cargo and warehouse logistics operations through the safe transport of cargo equipment and materials between customer and operational locations. This is not a last-mile parcel/package delivery role. Candidates with experience in cargo transport, industrial logistics, freight handling, warehouse operations, or material movement are strongly preferred.


This position operates medium-duty commercial vehicles locally within Florida and assists with warehouse responsibilities including cargo scanning, equipment tracking, loading/unloading activities, and facility support. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced logistics environments while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, station personnel, and operational partners.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Transport air cargo equipment and materials between operational and customer locations using medium-duty commercial vehicles
  • Assist with warehouse operations including cargo scanning, equipment tracking, loading/unloading, and facility upkeep
  • Perform visual inspections of air cargo equipment during pickup and delivery activities
  • Coordinate with station operations and customer warehouse personnel to support cargo movement activities
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Plan and follow delivery and transport routes to support timely operations
  • Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm complete pick-ups or deliveries
  • Maintain hours-of-service logs and complete pre/post-trip inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned vehicle; performs routine vehicle service as needed (refuel, check tire pressure, etc.)
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, company, and safety rules & regulations
  • Obey all applicable traffic laws and operate vehicles safely according to weather and road conditions
  • Perform all other duties as assigned



Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with company and insurance carrier standards
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examinerโ€™s Certificate (Medical Card)
  • Must meet and maintain compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Florida state requirements for intrastate CMV drivers
  • Experience safely operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, accurate and adaptable to warehouse environments
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Position may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and working in outdoor weather conditions as business needs dictate.
  • Must comply with FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to comply with FMCSA/DOT safety, operational, and regulatory requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required
  • 2+ years of experience in cargo transport, warehouse logistics, freight handling, industrial driving, or commercial vehicle operation preferred
  • Experience operating vehicles equipped with air brake systems preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices and accident prevention
