Job description

Mid Am Building Supply is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at our Moberly, MO location! The person in this position will process accounts receivables and complete filing, scanning, copying, and other activities in support of the Accounting Department.

This is a fully onsite position at our Moberly, Missouri location!ย

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Apply customer payments to the open invoices on their account.
  • Process customer credit card payments.
  • Prepare the daily bank deposit.
  • Scan all incoming checks into the bank scanning system. ย Perform various month end tasks on the last day of the month.
  • Process direct material shipment billings.
  • Scanning of paper documents to be stored in the document imaging system.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree
  • Accounts Receivable or Accounting experience is preferred
  • Must have excellent computer skills.ย  Computer skills must include:
    • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook to read, forward, and store vendor invoices received via email.
    • Willingness to learn and understand how to use Agility, our ERP operating system.ย 
  • Ability to scan paper documents into our electronic imaging system to store those documents.
  • Assertive, clear, and concise written/oral communication skills, including following directions.
  • Ability to clearly communicate on the phone.
  • Be detail oriented and have outstanding organization skills.
  • Have problem-solving skills and experience.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
