HR Talent Specialist

Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is seeking an HR Talent Specialist to join our Human Resources team at our Corporate Office in Fort Mitchell, KY.

At Drees, people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an HR professional who is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities and creating positive employee experiences from the very first interaction.

As a member of our Human Resources team, you'll play a key role in attracting top talent, managing onboarding programs, supporting HR systems and processes, and helping strengthen our employer brand. If you enjoy building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and finding new ways to improve the hiring experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, drug screenings, and other hiring-related programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a successful transition into the organization
  • Assist and coordinate college recruiting initiatives and represent Drees Homes at career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain employee data and process personnel changes within the HRIS while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Support employment branding initiatives, recruitment marketing efforts, and social media recruiting platforms
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide reporting and insights to support employee retention efforts
  • Generate HR reports and support performance review, survey, and compliance-related processes
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, community involvement programs, and other Human Resources projects as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes
  • Experience supporting multiple locations and partnering with a variety of business leaders
  • HRIS experience required; UKG experience preferred
  • Applicant Tracking System experience; iCIMS experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus
