About Us:
Mobile Dredging & Video Pipe offers a full line of sewer system repair and maintenance, as well as industrial cleaning services as part of the Carylon Corporation. We have been in business since 1964 with our main office in Pennsylvania and have expanded to include satellite offices In New Jersey and Maryland.
Position Description:
The Project Manager for MDVP is a highly visible position and the candidate must be comfortable working on different projects, interacting with clients and their representatives as well as communicating with upper management on project needs and issues.
Job Details:
Position: Construction Project Manager
Location: Beltsville, MD
Pay: $100,000-$120,000/year (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the work on various contracts assigned.
  • Assists in the evaluation of progress and quality of contract activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
  • Set, observe, and re-evaluate project priorities frequently and manage the stress that comes along frequently changing priorities.
  • Understand, organize, and accurately track every aspect of the job to have it run as smoothly as possible from a managerial standpoint.
  • Communicate with people at all levels; be able to (Change to- communicate and coordinate project activities with Superintendents) on a day-to-day basis but also be able to understand and discuss big-picture topics with upper management.
  • Provide accurate, detailed, and timely pay apps to the accounting department.
  • Obtains Daily Reports from Inspectors/Contractors.
  • Prepare documents, letters, report meeting minutes as required by upper management.
  • Performs work in a safe manner and actively encourages others to comply with safety rules and regulations, including wearing of personal protective devices.
  • ADDITIONAL- Make site visits, when possible or required, to meet with superintendents and customers to discuss project efficiency and support needs for field management.

Qualifications:
  • Effective oral and written skills for client communications as well as technical reporting and correspondence.
  • 1-2 years of either underground construction or pipeline rehabilitation is required.
  • Technical and contract knowledge in scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Good working knowledge of computers.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Must be able to physically access working areas of a construction project site.
  • Must be able to travel to project sites as needed to perform essential duties.
  • Must be able to travel to meet with management, clients, vendors, partners, or associations; or to attend conferences or training, as needed to perform essential duties.
  • Travel may be required 25%-35% of the schedule.

Essential Equipment and Software:
  • Office 365 suite.
  • Arc GIS is a plus.
  • PACP/MACP/LACP NASSCO certified is a plus.
