Job description:

The Shuttle Dock Operation Supervisor will work on site at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) in Ellabell, GA and be responsible for all Dock inbound/outbound activities and Customer relationship management with Dock Coordinators. Working hand in hand with Glovis and plant management to manage on-site activities which involve oversight of dock inbound/outbound handling with shuttle driver support service to ensure routes are completed as required to ensure 100% on-time delivery to the assembly line. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires leadership, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities for EV Shuttle Dock Operation Supervisor:

-Monitoring of all loads to ensure timely delivery to destinations working with Operations Manager/Supervisors (Inbound/Outbound daily operation carts, dollies, returnable racks/containers, etc.)

-Safety is our number 1 priority, and the EV Shuttle Dock Operation Supervisor will adhere to all safety procedures and initiatives to ensure the safety of our employees and those around us. This includes partnering with GFTs Safety team to ensure we operate as per our corporate guidelines and develop additional safety guidelines and procedures.

-Perform work requirements in assigned area in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet dock handling and quality goals.

-Comply with and promote company practices in the areas of safety, human relations, quality, cost, housekeeping, and delivery targets for an Auto Conveyor Dock area.

-Collaborate with Team Members, Team Leader, Group Leader and/or management to coordinate dock flow.

-Interact with others to resolve quality issues; implement repair/containment procedures for repetitive quality defects; notify management and/or affected teams or departments in a timely manner as required.

-Set team goals and encourage each team member to meet the common target.

-Collaborate with other Operation Supervisors to implement policies and procedures.

-Manage monthly Safety meeting (Accidents, Incidents, current issues etc.)

-Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

-Meet all other requirements as assigned

-Ready to the shipping signal

-Drive Docking instruction (include roller position check)

-LOP panel handling check with driver

-Cable hookup/release check properly

-Backing process handling

Qualifications for Dock Operation Supervisor:

7+ years of experience in transportation and logistics operations, distribution management or Automotive company management (Including Asset Maintenance and Related Regulation such as DOT and all government regulations for road safety- plus at least 5 years of Operation management experience) Experience with TMS, or similar transportation related computer database management systems. Exceptional communication, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills. Detailed knowledge and experience with general business application programs, including Microsoft office Bachelor's degree in applicable field preferred Bi-lingual preferred (Korean/English)

1st shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm

2nd shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:00pm-1:00am

(Working hours may vary based on the requests of HMGMA or GMA)
