Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment
  • General cleaning of operational equipment (labeler brushes, packer air bags, infeed rails, spills, etc.) • Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line
  • Ability to stack and un-stack cases; pack boxes.
  • Ability to inspect bottles and cases.
  • Ability to communicate and understand numerous product changes, boxes, labels, etc.
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork
  • Quality at the Source testing, where applicable to operations
  • Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness
  • Other duties as assigned

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Producing product free of contamination
  • Following all Ken's Foods SQF, Security and GMP policies
  • Reporting any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant
  • Inspection of work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis

Education and/or Experience

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
