Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will not only deliver highly personalized instruction, but also inspire curiosity, foster foundational academic skills, and nurture confidence and independence across core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Qualifications:

Knowledge / Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Must hold valid Florida Teacher Certification in Physical Education K–12 OR a Temporary Florida Teaching Certificate with an agreement to complete requirements for full Florida Educator Certification in Physical Education within three years of employment start date.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching or coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong background in physical education, fitness, and health instruction.
  • Experience with individualized and inclusive teaching approaches.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Driven, reflective learner with a growth mindset 
  • Must have empathy for students and enthusiasm for developing personalized, one-to-one learning relationships.
