About the Role

Ravenswood Senior Living is seeking a dependable and passionate Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, flavorful meals for our residents while helping create a positive dining experience each day. You will work closely with the dietary team to ensure meals meet dietary guidelines, resident preferences, and quality standards. This position also plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous cooking experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or a similar setting
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Familiarity with menu planning and inventory management
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs, preferences, and scheduled menus
