Summary/Objectives

The Digital Production Services (DPS) Customer Care Representative will be the liaison between sales and operations. Their major responsibility is assisting DPS Sales Representatives to help drive sales volume and have direct communication with the customer. The DPS Customer Care Representative will: receive and track all incoming jobs; verify the correct information is given to operations; identify new and work with existing outside vendors to provide the highest quality print at the best prices; quote outsourced work, and work directly with customers on getting jobs into the system and to completion.

Essential Functions

  • Liaison between sales and vendors.
  • Order entry processing of jobs from portals and clients.
  • Quote outsourced jobs.
  • Work with third party vendors.
  • Ensure correct information is completed on paperwork.
  • Work with customers, both internal and external, to translate what they want to the DPS Operations Manager.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide great customer service via phone, email, and in-person to internal and external customers. 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment, as well as a warehouse. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, file cabinets, photocopiers, etc.

Physical Demands

Light lifting – up to 25 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Full time position; Monday through Friday; 7am-4pm.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.

Travel

Local travel may be required to meet client needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma
  • Some college education

Preferred Education and Experience

Previous customer service or print experience helpful
