Senior Staff Accountant
Summary
Our client is a full service public accounting firm that is consistently ranked as a top place to work in Southern California.
As part of their growth strategic plans, we are looking to fill an exceptional opportunity for a senior accountant with 2 to 4 years of experience.
Senior accountants have the ability to handle many areas of an assigned engagement. They have developed skills in supervising subordinates working on the same engagement and are becoming familiar with how to train staff members. They are capable of producing completed work products ready for review by a supervisor or manager.
The minimum requirements a senior staff should possess are as follows:
  1. A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting
  2. CPA certification or CPA eligibility are required.
  3. 2 + years of experience in Audit/Tax with a Public Accounting Firm
  4. Ability to work within time budget constraints, including resolution of budget problems before a job gets out of control.
  5. Demonstrates commitment to the Firm's timeliness goals.
  6. Is an effective communicator, written and oral, upstream and downstream.

Working Conditions:
General office working conditions, including occasional assignments at client or offsite locations. Occasional overtime work required throughout the year.
