Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Compensation: $50,000-$70,000 per year + Weekly Bonus Opportunities

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive, Truck & Trailer Parts Specialist for a busy, well-established repair facility in Cumberland, RI. This full-time position offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule, weekly pay, bonus opportunities, excellent benefits, and long-term career growth supporting a high-volume operation servicing passenger vehicles, light trucks, medium-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians in identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts for automotive, truck, trailer, and fleet vehicles
  • Research parts using vendor catalogs, manufacturer systems, inventory software, and online databases
  • Provide accurate pricing, availability, and delivery timelines for parts orders
  • Process parts orders, returns, warranties, and exchanges efficiently
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organized parts records
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively replenish critical inventory
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Support shop productivity by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed
  • Assist with inventory control, purchasing, and vendor management activities
  • Maintain a professional, organized parts department and work environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional parts experience required
  • Experience with automotive, truck, trailer, fleet, diesel, or commercial vehicle parts preferred
  • Previous experience as a Parts Specialist, Parts Counterperson, Parts Advisor, Back Counter Parts Specialist, Parts Manager, or similar role
  • Familiarity with parts lookup systems, vendor catalogs, and inventory management software
  • Strong understanding of automotive, truck, trailer, fleet, or commercial vehicle parts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license preferred
