Job Summary and Responsibilities

**$10K Sign on Bonus,  $3K Employee Referral Bonus and potential Relocation Assistance Available**

Position Summary:

Performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures.  Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities.  Provides radiology services to all ages.

Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • One year or more as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures and able to take call is required.
  • Able to perform basic IR procedures and take call
  • Must meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II competencies.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.
  • Completion of California State Certification requirements (CRT). 
  • Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit required.
  • Current AHA BLS CPR certification required.

PREFERRED:

  • 3 years of experience as a staff technologist
  • Bachelors Of Science in Radiologic Science
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN)
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)

There is a $5.00 per hour night differential and a $0.30 per hour weekend differential.

As Santa Cruz County’s heart attack (STEMI) receiving center, Dominican Hospital provides cutting edge cardiac care. The hospital’s heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average, and the hospital offers two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure, which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient’s chest.
Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
