Job Description

The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of Doka formwork and shoring materials to and from customer job sites, warehouses, and branch locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles (non-CDL) to transport materials to job sites and between branch locations
  • Load, secure, and unload formwork and shoring equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Verify delivery contents against shipping documents and obtain necessary customer signatures
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard teams, and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards
  • Assist in yard operations as needed, including material handling, inventory checks, and organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license (Class C at minimum) with a clean driving record
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred (construction or industrial environment a plus)
  • Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained
  • Familiarity with local routes and job site environments preferred
  • Basic understanding of DOT regulations applicable to non-CDL drivers
