Location: San Rafael, CA
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time available

Tails of Terra Linda Pet Resort is seeking caring, reliable Kennel Assistants to join our team! Weโ€™re a busy, family-owned boarding and daycare facility where pets are treated like family. If you love working hands-on with dogs and cats and enjoy being part of a supportive team, weโ€™d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care, feeding, and fresh water for pets.
  • Walk, exercise, and play with dogs in group and individual settings.
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, and common areas.
  • Monitor pet health and behavior; promptly report concerns.
  • Assist with baths and basic grooming as needed.
  • Ensure pets receive plenty of love and attention every day.
Requirements:
  • Previous animal care experience preferred (kennel, shelter, vet, or pet sitting).
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds/sizes and cats.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
