Job description

Position Title: Superintendent
About the Role: The Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This position requires extensive experience in managing complex projects, particularly in the commercial and industrial sectors. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing logistics, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be adaptable to the dynamic nature of construction projects.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000 / Year DOE
Superintendent Responsibilities:
  • Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics, and coordination
  • Represent the company in meetings and interface with all project stakeholders
  • Coordinate and direct all subcontractors and vendors
  • Work with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability
  • Assume responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
  • Work closely with city officials in requesting and coordinating applicable inspections
  • Verify to ensure subcontractors complete the assigned scope of work
  • Seek to learn changes in the industry

Superintendent Requirements:
  • 12-15 years of experience as a Superintendent, with consideration for candidates with 10 years if exceptionally qualified
  • General Contractor experience is required
  • Experience with heavy mechanical and MPE systems
  • Experience managing projects valued between $45M and $50M
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Procore, and P6
  • Commercial experience is required; industrial experience is preferred
  • Tilt-wall experience is preferred
