BOMC Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time)
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBNJ), New Jersey
CentralCare Incorporated is seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative healthcare services in support of military readiness operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBNJ).
This is a full-time position supporting the Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC), delivering care in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force medical policies.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $68.00 per hour
  • $4.57 per hour Health & Welfare
  • 80 hours Paid Time Off annually (accrued)
  • 56 hours Sick Leave annually (accrued)

Position Responsibilities
  • Conduct Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Mental Health Assessments (MHA), Deployment-Related Health Assessments (DRHA 1-5), and Separation History & Physical Exams (SHPE)
  • Provide a full range of Nurse Practitioner services for routine, acute, and chronic conditions
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe and dispense medications within approved guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Promote preventive care, annual physicals, and patient education
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation in MHS Genesis and ASIMS
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medical readiness activities
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force, and medical facility policies and standards

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent)
  • Current, full, active, unrestricted NP license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems

Preferred Experience
  • Military or federal healthcare experience
  • Experience conducting health readiness assessments
  • Familiarity with MHS Genesis
