Our client is hiring a Funding Specialist to support loan closing and post-closing operations within a fast-paced consumer lending environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring loans move efficiently from approval through funding and post-closing. The position requires a high level of accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple files at different stages of the process.

Responsibilities
  • Review and verify all documentation required to close consumer loans
  • Prepare and organize loan documents for customers
  • Work directly with dealers and loan officers to ensure a smooth and timely closing process
  • Gather wiring instructions and process wire transfers accurately
  • Manage post-closing title-related issues and follow up as needed
  • Oversee back-end loan processes including insurance, first payment defaults, and post-closing items
  • Track and manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timelines
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 5+ years of consumer loan or mortgage closing experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with DocuSign required
  • Comfortable working on the phone and coordinating with multiple parties throughout the day

Work Environment & Schedule
