Job description

Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position.
Administrative support to in-house attorneys, outside law firms, and lease negotiators. Serves as liaison between the legal department and real estate department in preparing and submitting leases, amendments, and other real estate documents for signature.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities.
• Copy and collate final leases, amendments, and other documents and submit for review and signature, either in hard copy or via DocuSign
• Prepare transmittal letters to send along with the executed documents to landlords
• Push the legal documents through review, approval, and signature and track and update the status of such documents to ensure completion by critical deadlines
• Review fully executed leases for changes once received from landlord
• Update software systems such as Lucernix, Tango, and Excel with key dates and information
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate and Lease Administration teams to support operational initiatives
• Special Projects as required
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.
• Capable of working independently
• Capable of advanced problem solving
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Detail oriented self-starter
• Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High School diploma or GED required
Desired Qualifications - Desired but not required.
Experience in using DocuSign preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Legal background preferred.
