The Opportunity
The Project Manager serves as the liaison between project owners, project team and management to guarantee an open and accurate communication of project and program achievements and issues to be escalated for resolutions. Identifies areas for process improvements and defines/implements solutions serving as the key contact to disseminate the new process requirements to the organization.
The process is intended to ensure the Senior Management has the appropriate data and synthesis thereof for optimal decision-making in support of the Product Portfolio and Division strategy.
The successful candidate may also serve as Project Owner for one or more projects in the product portfolio, executing the project in accordance with the above process expectations. Accountable for driving scope, budget, and quality tradeoffs, not only for a given project, but across projects in conjunction with other stakeholders to optimize portfolio value creation.
What You'll Work On :
  • Implement, monitor and improve business processes in support of Project Management, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and sub-processes thereof.
  • Demonstrate stewardship and provide project leadership to meet Division strategy and business objectives.
  • Manage activities associated with product-related projects by coordinating the activities from key functional areas such as R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial.
  • Projects being managed may include market and line extensions, reformulations, new products, new manufacturing process and new packages.
  • Act as a point of contact for IBP process reporting and updates.
  • Facilitate project through the project management and IBP process; ensure cross-functional team is working within process definition for reporting to Sr. Management. Resolve project team conflicts and project data integrity.
  • Implement process improvements solutions to support the division to achieve its long-term goals.
  • Provide business updates as needed regarding project status, resource needs, risks and decisions to be escalate to Sr. Management in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product development, project management and/or business process implementation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned; have demonstrated the ability to define and implement complex and interdependent business processes
  • PMP Certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical devices and / or pharmaceutical is a plus.
