Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud infrastructure sector, is seeking a Cloud API Documentation Writing Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Cloud API Documentation Writing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Documentation and Product Management department supporting engineering, architecture, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technical documentation, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cloud API Documentation Writing Specialist

Location:Chandler, AZ (On-site required, hybrid work model with 3 days onsite per week)

What's the Job?

  • Develop and maintain authoritative technical documentation for Internal Cloud Platform architectures, services, APIs, and operational processes.
  • Ensure documentation supports safe consumption, operational consistency, and effective onboarding for application and operations teams.
  • Own documentation standards, structure, and lifecycle management to ensure clarity and usability.
  • Create architecture guides, service descriptions, operational runbooks, onboarding materials, and API documentation aligned with platform tooling and automation workflows.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers, architects, and SREs to capture accurate and comprehensive technical content.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience producing technical documentation for infrastructure, platforms, or developer-facing services.
  • Proven ability to document architectures, APIs, automation workflows, operational runbooks, and onboarding guides.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, cloud infrastructure concepts, virtualization, and DevOps terminology.
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams to capture technical content accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage documentation standards and lifecycle.
