Job Description
Join a respected healthcare organization as an Records Document Specialist to support the management, organization, maintenance, and retention of business records and documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Organize, maintain, and manage electronic and physical records and documents.
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, proper classification, and filing.
  • Scan, index, upload, and retrieve documents within electronic document management systems.
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure records are easily accessible and properly secured.
  • Assist with records retention, archiving, storage, and document destruction processes.
  • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with established retention schedules, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform data entry and update record-tracking spreadsheets, databases, and electronic systems.
  • Research and retrieve requested records and documentation for internal departments.
  • Identify missing, duplicate, or incorrectly filed documents and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information.
  • Support audits, records reviews, and special document-management projects as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support related to records and document control.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in records management, document control, records administration, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of documents while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with document management or records management systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full hourly pay range for the role.
