Job description

PURPOSE:
The Sales Executive supports the Conversion Assistance Services department in identifying and maximizing revenue of our document scanning services, capture solutions, and remittance processing business.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for identifying and maximizing revenue within assigned territory
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by our specific products and services
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability and other terms
  • Quote prices, terms and other bid specifications within ibml product and pricing guidelines
  • Maintain customer records using ibml automated systems
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and attending trade shows and conferences
  • Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information
  • Assist in the collection of monies due and in the resolution of problems causing delay in payment

PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field (Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent degree)
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience with document imaging and data capture services.
  • Prior Banking and Cash Management Sales experience is highly preferred, particularly in the Community Banking Market.
  • Experience in check payment processing and remittance processing is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of PC's and electromechanical paper handling devices such as copiers, printers, and scanners is a plus
  • Knowledge in principles and methods for promoting and selling products and services.
  • Ability to travel to local and regional clients
