MRI Technologist Job Summary
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.
MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
- Patient care tasks as needed
MRI Technologist:
- Two (2) Years' Experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- MUST HAVE GE or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
- Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting
Specific equipment they must be familiar with: All Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.
