Document Specialist | 1st Shift

Location: Rochester, NY
Worksite: Avalon Printing Facility
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience

We are hiring a Document Specialist for our 1st shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and looking for a stable weekday schedule with the potential to become a permanent Avalon team member.

What You’ll Do

As a Document Specialist, you will support a variety of print, copy, scan, bindery, and document production projects. You will be trained on our processes and equipment and will work as part of a team that takes pride in getting the details right.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating copiers, printers, scanners, and finishing equipment
  • Completing printing, copying, scanning, binding, and document preparation projects
  • Reviewing job instructions to ensure work is completed accurately
  • Performing quality checks before work is finalized
  • Meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
  • Handling documents with confidentiality and care
  • Keeping work areas organized and following safety procedures
