Job Description Document Technician Downtown Toronto Our client, a well known and highly regarded law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto is hiring. They are looking to fill an open vacancy for a Document Technician to support its firm's document production needs. This position will be Monday to Friday full time in the evenings from 4:00pm to 12:00am.

The successful candidate will need to have strong technical skills, attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple demands as well as to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft 365 skills and have the ability to work in a variety of practice areas. Responsibilities: Create, revise and format all documentation to the highest quality with extreme attention to detail Full utilization of applications and recommend alternate methods of production to increase accuracy and productivity As part of the team, manage timeline expectations and complete all work that comes into the Document Processing Centre in a timely fashion Ensure clients of the Document Processing Centre have a positive experience Complete a variety of office service tasks including: photocopy, print, fax and send documents via Uber for Business after hours, as requested Ability to work in a variety of different practice areas Keep apprised of all changes / upgrades in technology Requirements: Previous experience in a legal Document Processing Centre Knowledge of all practice areas, with emphasis on Real Estate or Litigation being considered an asset Successful completion of a post-secondary education as a legal assistant or law clerk Flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime as necessary Handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands Skills: Advanced technical skills using MS Office 365 (including Excel and PowerPoint) Previous digital dicta transcription, accounting software, Document Management, Adobe Acrobat and Litera Compare experience is an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills Compensation: Thesalary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market Interested candidates should apply today.
