Job Description

PROJECT/TASK SUPERVISOR

GDIT JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to Projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management

Participates in the development of technical project plans, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting

May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s)

Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload

Coordinates risks as needed for the contract and recommends mitigation/avoidance strategies

Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison

Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders

Coordinates development of contract deliverables and products

Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables and products

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Oversee and supervise a small team focused on performing document digitization processes for the contract, ensuring quality and timely production according to established guidelines and schedules. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The Program and Project/Task Supervisor will direct and oversees the production /digital processing of a document archive and the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of tasks for the contract. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the offices both internally and externally.

Lead/Manage/Support entry-level and Intermediate-level administrative assistants performing document digitization processes for the contract ensuring quality and timely production according to established guidelines and schedules.

Collaborate with the customer and team in planning sessions, team meetings, and other customer and internal GDIT sessions

Drive and Monitor progress on tasks, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting schedule deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions.

Utilize standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements SOPs, training plans, and other documentation

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Supervisor must have:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science OR

Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills: Expert level of IT awareness, 7+ years of experience performing the more technical aspects of digitization, such as knowledge of the various equipment types

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

Location: Customer site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
