Position Summary
Oversees document control processes across multiple projects or programs, ensuring documentation integrity and leading audit preparation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain company-wide document control standards
  • Train and mentor junior document controllers
  • Interface with QA/QC, legal, and project management teams
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory documentation requirements
  • Prepare documentation for audits and project close-out

Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge of document management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and process management experience
  • 5-7 years in document control, including leadership responsibilities

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to highly sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Understand accrual accounting as it pertains to billing and revenue.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Software/Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office, Internet Explorer, Newforma, and software programs applicable to job type required.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The typical noise level is moderate, business office with computers, printers and light traffic. Occasional field work at construction and client sites may require employee to be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, electrical and mechanical parts and industrial type facility environments. It is expected that employees will wear hard hats, steel-toed boots and other appropriate safety equipment as needed.
