Description

The Quality Control Inspector 1 is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Control Inspector 1 will perform inspections and tests on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure that they meet the required specifications.

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

At least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or Equivalent

Fluent in English

1 year of experience in Quality Control

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications


Shifts Available:

Monday through Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm


Compensation and Benefits:

Base rate is $17.00/hour

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Perform inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications.

Assist in training new employees.

Has autonomy to make decisions to reinspect material.

Document inspection and test results, including any defects or non-conformities found, and report them to appropriate personnel.

Utilizes standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.

Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents.

Produce and collect product samples for testing and reporting per scheduled procedures.

Promote quality control through comparison of produced products.

Works under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance.

Participate in quality control audits and assessments.

Flexible Break and Lunch Schedules based on NW Line timing and operation.

May be required to work overtime including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Perform other duties assigned by management.
