Job Summary:
As a Document Control Coordinator at SteelFab, you will play a critical role in managing construction documents in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position collaborates with a diverse team, including document control management, project managers, and estimators. This position will be part of a specialized team that will involve highly regulated documents. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential to excel in this role.
Essential Job Functions
  • Utilize a variety of software to handle, organize, and transfer construction documents efficiently.
  • Receive and prioritize emails to manage daily tasks.
  • Maintain credentials for customer websites to download and upload drawings electronically, while preparing and sending transmittals to confirm drawing contents.
  • Transition bid documents to job files, rename and organize drawing file revisions, and print documents in coordination with project managers and senior staff.
  • Communicate with estimators and project managers to address issues and resolve technical challenges related to document access.
  • Adopt a positive and flexible attitude to work collaboratively in a team setting.
